Samsung J2 touch not working Solution

Today,the unresponsive touch screen is a very common problem on the smartphones that come with touch screen. Samsung J2 touch screen not working is among these common problems and most of the users of this phone have been facing this issue. Here I am mentioning some fixes that you can try to resolve this issue:

1. Restart your phone To do this,hold the power key for a few seconds until the phone vibrates and turns off. Switch it on after sometime to see if the problem persists or not.
2. Clean the screen/touch connector If some moisture is present in the screen, the touch functionality will not work properly. To resolve this, use a micro fiber dry cloth to clean the screen. If issue persists, you can also try to disassemble the phone carefully and clean the touch connector and check if that works for you. If the touch connector has any damage, you need to replace that.
3. Soft Reset This can be done by removing the battery for 30 seconds. It will remove the temporary files that may be causing this touch screen unresponsiveness issue. For soft reset take out the battery from the phone and re-insert it again after 30 seconds. Then, press the Power key and then hold it to turn on the phone. Now test if the problem is solved.
4. If anything of the above options do not work, try to perform hard reset. It will remove everything from your Samsung J2 and it will reset the settings to factory defaults. Please follow the below mentioned steps to perform hard reset.
   1. Hold the power button to switch off the handset.

      

   2. Once the handset is off, press and hold together: Volume Up + Home + Power key for a couple of seconds.

      

   3. Release held keys when the Samsung Logo appears on the screen and the phone will start in the recovery mode.
   4. Select from Recovery Mode menu "wipe data / factory reset" using Volume buttons to navigate up and down and Power button to confirm your selection.

      

   5. Choose the option "Yes -- delete all user data" to confirm the reset.

      

   6. Lastly, select the option "reboot system now" to restart your phone.

      

If you have performed a factory reset, and the problem still persists even before installing any new app, then it's a hardware issue, and you should contact the retailer.
