Realme 1 Common Problems & Issues & their Fix

Oppo Realme 1 smartphone was launched in May 2018. The phone has a 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels with a PPI of 402 pixels per inch. The price in India starts from Rs. 10,990.

Realme 1 is powered by octa-core (4x2GHz + 4x2GHz) processor and 6GB of RAM. The phone has 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. For the cameras, Realme 1 packs a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Realme 1 is powered by a 3410mAh battery. It is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM in both slots. It measures 156.00 x 75.20 x 7.80 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 155.00 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Realme 1 Lagging or apps taking too much time to open

1. Some third-party launcher or program may cause the phone to lag. Because many of these launchers are not optimized for particular specification sheet. Then, do a hard reboot. Turn off your phone and restart it again.
2. If the problem is still not resolved, you have to perform a factory reset. Go to Setting > Backup & Reset > Factory Reset . Make sure to take necessary backup before factory reset.

Realme 1 Game or Application(like Facebook, camera, Instagram) crashes or unexpectedly closes in the middle

1. First, go to the Realme 1's setting > apps, then click on the app which is crashing frequently and clear its data.
2. Secondly, uninstall the app and install it again from the play store.
3. Update the app which is crashing frequently.

Realme 1 Mobile Touch not working sometimes

1. This might be due to a liquid screen damage which you may not know about. Keep your device in a warm place for 36 hours and check if this is resolved.
2. Make sure you are not sharing the screen with other gadgets.
3. Check if the device is operating fine in the recovery mode.

Realme 1 Apps not downloading from the play store

This might also be due to any issue of the internet connection you are using. Try the following steps to see if this solves the problem.

1. Check if the WIFI is working. If you are downloading over sim data, make sure the "Download over WIFI" is not checked in the settings of Play store.
2. Go to settings on the Realme 1 and clear app data/cache of the app Play Store.
3. Remove your Google account by choosing Settings > Other Accounts > Google and in the bottom click on the 3 dots and select Remove account . Restart and open Play Store and login again into your Google Account. Then try downloading the app.
4. Clear the local search history and cache from the Play store app in your Realme 1. Check if the Play store app is updated and try again to download the app.

Realme 1 Screen Stuck or Frozen and nothing happens when you touch screen

1. Close the unnecessary apps running in background.
2. Using your Realme 1 phone for long time while charging may lead to the heating issue.
3. Gaming for too long can lead to overheating of the phone.
Make sure to turn off Mobile data, GPS, Bluetooth while in call.

Realme 1 Mobile Network not working properly or working slowly

1. Remove and re-insert your SIM card to solve the SIM undetected issue.
2. You can perform a basic rebooting before anything else.
3. If there is any hardware issue, contact the service centre.
4. Confirm that the SIM frequency is same as to the device frequency.
5. Try to do a manual search for the network by unchecking "Automatically detect network".
6. Check with any other sim whether you are facing the same issue.

Realme 1 Hangs on Logo

Factory reset your phone via recovery and restore the system software on the phone. Make sure you have charged the phone prior to this. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Hold on the power button to switch off Realme 1.
2. Once the handset is switched off, press and hold together: Volume Up + Home + Power key for a while.
3. Release the keys when the Samsung logo appears on the screen and the phone will start in the recovery mode.
4. Select from Recovery Mode menu option "wipe data / factory reset" using Volume buttons to navigate up and down and Power button to confirm.
5. Choose option "Yes -- delete all user data" to confirm the reset.
6. Finally, select the option "reboot system now" to restart your Realme 1.
