Jio Phone hang on LOGO problem Solution - Hard Reset Jio Phone

Reliance Jio has recently launched the 4G feature phone with an effective price of Rs 1500. But recently the users have complained about the hanging problem while starting their handset. Apparently while starting the handset the display is stuck in the screen with JIO logo.

Here I am going to explain how in few steps this problem can be resolved:

1. As you face the problem, please switch of the phone either through the red power button or by removing the battery(if the earlier option is not working).
2. When the phone is off, press up arrow key and power key together for recovery mode.
3. Once the handset is on in the recovery mode, select the option "Wipe Cache Partition" by using up and down arrows.

   

4. Press the "Jio" and red power button of your handset to chose the above mentioned option and click on "Yes" to delete the cache.

   

5. Once the cache deletion is complete, select the "Reboot system now" option by using the power button.
6. The phone will restart and work as expected. To prevent from the hanging problem, another option is to reset the phone. To reset the phone, press and long hold on power button + volume key.
